2016 Assault of Patrick Gehrlein

On October 10, 2016, Griffith responded to a domestic disturbance and took Patrick Gehrlein into custody. Griffith was accused of kicking Gehrlein in the face while he was handcuffed and prone. Three other officers reported the assault.[1][3]
