Incident Reports

2021 Stalking of Estranged Wife

On September 18, 2021, Allegheny Township Pennsylvania Police Department officers responded to a domestic disturbance 911 call placed by McSherry's estranged wife. McSherry was arrested at the scene.[2][1]

During the police investigation, the woman said that McSherry had used license plate readers to track her vehicle location, that she had discovered a GPS tracking device in her car, and that McSherry had shown her videos he recorded of her through the Nanny Cam inside the house.[2]

McSherry also had a naked picture of the woman from when she was a young teen, which he found on the internet.[2]

Department Response

McSherry was suspended from the Frazer Police Department.[1]

Kiskiminetas Township Police Department put McSheery on unpaid leave.[4]

Legal Action

September 28, 2021, police filed nearly a dozen charges against McSherry, including two felony counts of unlawful use of a computer, a felony count of child pornography, misdemeanor charges of official oppression, stalking, and making terroristic threats.[2]
