Overview
On January 24, 2023, San Antonio Texas Police Department officers noted suspicious activity and made contact with a van containing several people. Officers noticed several knives and asked Nandin to exit the vehicle. An officer asked what was in Nandin's jacket pocket, prompting Nandin to hand them a pouch that contained possible narcotics. Officers attempted to handcuff Nandin, who struggled, pulled a gun, and shot twice. An officer shot Nandin.[1]
Officers rendered aid. Nandin died at the scene.[1]
