Incident Reports
2021 Personal Contact
On June 18, 2021, Bruno responded to a disturbance reported by a woman. Bruno's body-worn camera recorded him asking, "What is your name, beautiful". After leaving the call, Bruno sent a dozen text messages to the woman over the following two hours, continuing to compliment her appearance and asking if the woman was married. The woman replied to some messages, but stopped and reported Bruno's behavior after becoming "uncomfortable".[1]
Response Timeline
The department issued a "no contact" order, forbidding Bruno from contacting the woman again. [1]
Bruno was suspended for 30 days, which was reduced to 20 days on appeal.[1]
