2022 Public Intoxication
On March 4, 2022, Cagle was off-duty when he got into a fight outside of a bar.[1]
Cagle repeatedly pushed a responding officer.[3]
An officer noted that Cagle had "unsteady balance, slurred speech and breath smelling of alcohol".[1]

On March 4, 2022, Cagle was arrested on charges of interference with public duties and public intoxication.[1]
Cagle was placed on administrative leave.[1]
Cagle completed a pretrial diversion program and the interference charge was dropped.[3]
On February 28, 2023, Cagle was suspended for 20 days.[3]
