2021 Sexual Assault Investigation
In March 2021, Officer O'Quinn took a statement from a woman who said that she had been sexually assaulted. In a later complaint, O'Quinn was described as "rude and acted like he didn’t believe her". O'Quinn also didn't relay important details to the on-call Sex Crimes detective, didn’t contact the Crime Scene Unit, and didn't ensure the scene was secured and evidence was collected.
In August 2021, O'Quinn was suspended for 20 days for violation of rules. The suspension ended on September 19, 2021.
