Body Camera Policy
In July 2020, the city council approved a five-year, $1 million contract for 140 body-worn cameras and 12 in-vehicle cameras. Funds were expected from the federal government and a local bond issue.[3]
On October 1, 2020, the department equipped officers with body-worn cameras.[3]
