2024 Obscene Material
Louis worked as a school resource officer at a high school. Louis exchanged inappropriate text messages and photos with two female students under the age of 18.[4][5]
On March 8, 2024, one student's parents reported the messages to the department.[5]

The Solano County District Attorney's Major Crimes Task Force opened an investigation.[3]
On March 9, 2024, Louis was charged with sending, distributing, or exhibiting harmful or obscene material to a minor, contacting or communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a sex crime, and knowingly transporting, duplicating or possessing child pornography or other obscene material with the intent to distribute or show it to others.[3]
On April 11, 2024, the state Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) suspended Louis' certification following his arrest.[1]
On July 7, 2025, Louis was charged with annoying or molesting a child under 18.[6]
On July 7, 2025, Louis pleaded guilty to the latest charge. The earlier charges were dismissed.[6]
On August 20, 2025, Louis was sentenced to 180 days in jail.[6]
On December 8, 2025, the POST commission ruled Louis as ineligible for certification due to his conviction.[1]
