2022 Soliciting a Minor
Burrell went online and discussed paying for sex with someone who he thought was a 14-year-old, but was actually an officer with the Nassau County Florida Sherriff's Office[1]

On September 9, 2022, Burrell was fired.[2]
On September 14, 2022, the Nassau County Florida Sherriff's Office held a press conference to describe the charges against Burrell and the other men caught in their sting operation.[4]
On June 13, 2023, Burrell pleaded guilty and was sentenced to time served and five years of probation.[5]
