On May 29, 2022, a woman was on a first date with Finley at his house. After Finley prepared her a drink, the woman felt "paralyzed" and "really sleepy". Finley made several attempts to undress the woman and touched her intimately.[1]

The woman was able to leave after Finley fell asleep. She took a drug test, which tested positive for amphetamines.[1]

The woman reported the incident to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office the next day.[1]

Response Timeline

A consensual search of Finley's apartment by police revealed a cup with residue that tested positive for amphetamines.[1]

On June 3, 2022, Finley was arrested on two counts of sexual battery, and one count each of battery and drug possession.[1]

On June 6, 2022, Finley was fired.[1]
