2014 Arrest for Sexual Battery
The charges were dropped.[1]
2022 Arrest for Pandering
The Gwinnett County Georgia Sheriff’s Office obtained information that Day was pandering for sex with a prostitute.[2]
Day used the state computer criminal database (GCIC) to search for names of people he had no legal justification to query.[1]
In November 2021, Norcross police were informed of the alleged misconduct.[1]
Department Response
On January 7, 2022, Day was fired for violations of department policies of oath of office, code of ethics, standards of conduct, and other improper use of police databases.[1]
Legal Action
On January 18, 2022, Day was arrested and charged with two counts of pandering for sex, two counts of GCIC violations, and two counts of violating his oath of office.[1]
