2021 DUI
On November 12, 2021, Jamal-Francis was off-duty and driving in his personal vehicle with his son when he rear-ended another vehicle. Jamal-Francis fled the scene. When officers found him, Jamal-Francis admitted to drinking and refused a field sobriety test. He consented to an alcohol blood test at the hospital.[3]

Jamal-Francis was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, and traffic violations.[3]

2025 DUI
On November 10, 2025, Jamal-Francis was found parked with his car angled into the road. Jamal-Francis was asleep.[2]
Jamal-Francis told officers that he had been drinking. A blood test showed Jamal-Francis's blood alcohol content was .305, nearly four times the legal limit.[4]
