2022 Distribution of Child Pornography

In March 2022, an employee with the department reported that an adult male was sharing child pornography via a social media app, including images and videos of sexual acts involving children under 10 years old. The investigation led to Fox.[1]

Response Timeline

On April 20, 2022, Fox was charged with seven felony counts of possession of child pornography and faces up to 35 years in prison.[1][3]

Fox was fired.[1]

Investigators found about 100 images and videos of child sexual abuse material on Fox's phone.[4]

Fox pleaded no contest to 38 counts of possession of sexual performance by a child. Since he was in possession of 10 or more images and videos, the charges were upgraded to second-degree felonies.
