2018 Hiring Conspiracy
Dickerson was identified as one of the two officers who assisted Armando Perez in cheating to secure the role as Chief.[3]
Response Timeline
On June 28, 2021, Dickerson was placed on administrative leave and removed from his post as head of the department's police academy.[3]
Dickerson was suspended for 10 days without pay for violating department rules for unbecoming conduct, violating his command and supervisory responsibilities, and violating the department's code of ethics.[2]
