2013 Furnishing Alcohol to Minors
In 2013, Tabor gave alcohol to under-age children, some of whom he met through the department's Explorer Post program.[1]
Tabor slept in the same bed as a girl in the program.[2] Tabor was seen kissing and hugging the girl during an event.[3]
Response Timeline
Tabor was demoted to Corrections Officer, placed on probation for one year, and suspended without pay for 5.5 days.[1]
The parents of the children declined to press charges.[2]
The Hamilton County District Attorney's Office investigated, and referred the case to the department for administrative action.[2]
On March 1, 2015, Tabor separated from the department.[2]
