2021 Misconduct
In April 2021, Martinez was recorded on video pointing an unloaded gun at her boyfriend and pulling the trigger several times. Her boyfriend was fellow officer Phillip Ortiz Jr..[1]
In November 2021, Ortiz was investigated for assaulting Martinez. The video was discovered as part of the investigation.[1]

Martinez was fired for violating rules covering officer conduct and behavior.[1]
