2023 Arrest of "B.E."
On December 23, 2023, Green arrested B.E. following a disturbance at a store.[2]
At the jail, Green ignored B.E.'s request to use the bathroom, prompting B.E. to urinate in the corner of his cell. Green threatened to beat B.E. unless he licked the urine off the floor.[3][2]
The incident was captured on security cameras and on Green's cellphone.[2]

The city hired an outside investigator to review policies, procedures, and training.[3]
On March 14, 2024, Green pleaded guilty to deprivation of civil rights. Green faces up to one year in prison and a fine, and was ordered to surrender his certification.[2]
On June 12, 2024, Green was sentenced to one year in federal prison.[4]
