2022 Dishonesty
Blocker was on leave due to COVID-19 and was asked to provide a doctor's release to return to duty.[1]
Blocker claimed that he was being subjected to retaliation due to his medical condition.[1]
Response Timeline
In January 2022, Blocker was placed on administrative leave.[1]
During an investigation into Blocker's claims, it was found that he had been dishonest with the city in reference to the physician's release and claims about his personal safety.[1]
On March 29, 2022, Blocker was fired for multiple acts of dishonesty in violation of city policy.[1]
