Incident Reports

2022 Misrepresentation

Bogle - whose maiden name is Sewell - claimed to be the niece of Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell, in hopes of favoritism when applying for a position as a field intelligence officer.[1]

Commissioner Sewell visited Bogle's precinct, where her "niece" came up in conversation.[1]

Commissioner Sewell ordered that Bogle be interviewed, where Bogle continued to claim that she was Sewell's niece.[1]

Response Timeline

On April 4, 2022, Bogle was placed on medically restricted desk duty for "psychological reasons". She was stripped of her badge and gun.[1]
