1997 Illegal Drugs
In 1997, the department investigated Sajdak for the sale or possession of illegal drugs.
The complaint was sustained, and Sajdak was suspended for 30 days.
2016 Harassment of Geneva Perry
On September 8, 2016, Sajdak pulled Perry over, told her to follow him to another location, and masturbated in front of her.
2019 Sexual Assault of Tyshee Featherstone
In April 2019, Sajdak resigned.
In 2019, Featherstone sued Sajdak and the department.
In April 2020, Featherstone's lawsuit was settled.
On September 28, 2022, Sajdak was indicted on a a federal charge of deprivation of rights under "color of law". If convicted, Sajdak faces up to life in federal prison. Sajdak pleaded not guilty.
On November 13, 2023, Sajdak pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of deprivation of rights under color of law. Sajdak faces up to one year in federal prison.
