Body Camera Policy

On November 23, 2021, the state announced that the rollout of 1,550 body-worn cameras had begun on November 2nd and would be complete by May of 2022.[2]

The department will also deploy 1,221 new in-car systems. The body cameras will be integrated with dash and rear-seat cameras.[2]
