2020 Theft
On November 3, 2020, the department noticed discrepancies in timesheets submitted by Williams. The department requested that the county police investigate Williams for submitting false time sheets and receiving pay for time that he didn't work from January to November, 2020.[3]
On December 20, 2021, Williams resigned from the department.[3]

On December 20, 2021, Williams pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor theft. Williams was sentenced to one year of supervised probation and ordered to pay $3,830 in restitution.[3]
