2020 Arrest of Jarrel Johnson
On December 14, 2021, Lemmon was suspended by the Governor pending the disposition of the charges.
On December 14, 2021, Lemmon was indicted on charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and misconduct in office. If convicted, the charge of assault carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and the misconduct charge up to 10 years in prison.
