2022 Vehicle Collision

On August 12, 2022, Pratt was responding to a call about a large fight. Pratt was driving with his lights and siren activated at speeds of 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Pratt entered an intersection on a red light and struck another car, injuring the two passengers.[3]

Response Timeline

The Boulder County District Attorney's Office and Colorado State Police (CSP) investigated the crash.[3]

On February 13, 2023, Pratt was charged by the CSP with two counts of felony vehicular assault.[3]

Pratt was placed on unpaid administrative leave.[3]

Pratt pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 90 days probation, 40 hours of community service, and a fine.[4]
