On May 7, 2024, a grand jury indicted Bonillo on one count of Conspiracy to Import Controlled Substances, one count of Importation of Fentanyl, and one count of Importation of Heroin.[1]
On July 28, 2025, Bonillo pleaded guilty to all three counts.[2]
