Response Timeline
On December 28, 2022, Schoeberl was suspended for 40 hours for violation of policies regarding sexual harassment and conduct unbecoming of an officer.[3]
2023 Reckless Endangerment
In April 2023, Schoeberl fired a weapon inside his apartment. The bullet went through the wall and struck his neighbor.[2]
Response Timeline
On April 6, 2023, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations opened an investigation.[2]
On June 6, 2023, a grand jury indicted Schoeberl for reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.[2]
