2024 Striking of Michael Barry
In February 16, 2024, Rafferty struck Michael Barry with her department vehicle as he walked in a crosswalk while wearing a reflective vest. Barry suffered a cut to the head.[4]
Rafferty rendered aid until paramedics arrived.[4]
Rafferty requested a breathalyzer test, which registered a 0.0% blood alcohol content.[4]
