2023 Shooting of Jamazea Kittell
On June 27, 2023, Kim and other officers responded to a burglary in progress at a gas station. Kittell attempted to drive away, striking Kim. From the hood of the vehicle, Kim fired, striking Kittell.
The incident was captured on body-worn camera, an in-vehicle camera, and a surveillance camera.[1]
