Response Timeline

On March 16, 2023, Burkett was charged with felonies of conspiracy, attempted kidnapping, accessory to stalking, and participating in criminal street gang activity; and misdemeanors of stalking, obtaining criminal history record information under false pretense, misusing 911, and making a false report.[4]

In October 2023, Burkett was also charged with felony judicial tampering and misdemeanor stalking.[5]
