Response Timeline
On May 7, 2024, a grand jury indicted Garcia on one count of Conspiracy to Import Controlled Substances, three counts of Importation of Fentanyl, three counts of Importation of Methamphetamine, and two counts of Importation of Cocaine.[1]
On July 8, 2025, Garcia pleaded guilty to all nine counts.[2]
