2023 Drug Trafficking
The Sheriff reported that Odom's name had come up a few times in connection with illegal activities at the jail.[4]

As part of the investigation, Odom was terminated.[2]
On August 31, 2023, Odom was arrested for trafficking fentanyl, attempting to distribute drugs, and first-degree attempt to promote prison contraband.[1]
The agency is investigating if recent deaths of inmates at the jail could be attributed to Odom or other officers.[4]
Odom pleaded not guilty.[4]
On November 3, 2023, a judge dismissed the charge of attempting to promote prison contraband.[5]
