2023 Death of Roberto Corchado
Response Timeline
On May 12, 2023, Corchado's family filed a federal lawsuit against the city, the police chief, and the two officers, claiming that excessive force violated Corchado's Fourth Amendment rights.[2]
On November 21, 2025, the California Attorney General concluded "that criminal charged were not appropriate in this case".[3]
