2023 Evidence Mishandling
On February 19, 2023, a complaint of improper evidence handling at the department was reported to the Clinch County Sheriff's Office.[1]
Response Timeline
The Sheriff turned the investigation over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). [1]
On February 22, 2023, Drury was arrested and charged with theft by taking, possession of marijuana, false statements and writings, and violation of oath of office.[1]
