On November 23, 2021, the Pulaski County Quorum Court approved a budget for 2022 that included funding for data storage of body camera equipment worn by county law enforcement officers. The county added about $900,000 to the sheriff's office budget to cover the cost of data storage. The lack of data storage has been cited by the Lonoke County sheriff's office as the reason its deputies don't have cameras rolling at all times.[2]
